AMBALI SODIQ ABIODUN
All praise and adoration be to Almighty God for his indefinite mercy and blessings. The task of leading this noble association as been demanding but fulfilling and glorious. The Primus Inter Pares (Executive Council 2015/16 session) came on board with the mission of placing the association as a model group in the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University. The National Association of Public Administration Students (NAPAS), OAU chapter being a formidable training ground for future builders has been managed astutely since the inception of this administration. The orgy of corruption, which has eaten deep into our social, political, cultural, economic and even religious life have been curbed if not 'totally murdered'' through the zeal for Accountability and Transparency. Expenses as been channeled towards building a monument for younger generation through our spending on capital items.
I urge the esteemed freshmen to give nothing but their best. The thirst for knowledge which drove you to this citadel of knowledge must be voraciously satisfied. Your
knowledge will be needed in the repositioning of our dear Nigeria among progressive nations in the years to come. The leadership of the association need your support, love and contributions towards the growth and development of the association.
To our beloved In Lico Parentis, words alone cannot expressed my appreciation towards making us great both individually and collectively. The academic and non-academic staff of the department led by Dr(Mrs) Ike Fayomi are always ready to issue a helping hand regardless of the busy schedule.
NAPAS will indeed get to the envisioned height.
We are almost there.
